Without a doubt vaccination is one of the greatest public health achievements in the medical field. They are widely accepted around the globe and have been in clinical practice for decades now. Vaccines are part of a spectrum of biological treatment including childhood diseases and even COVID-19.
Despite the widely accepted clinical use, vaccines still cause controversy to this day. This course will be a combination of foundational science, how people study the safety and effectiveness of vaccines, and the social determinants of health. In addition to this treatment method, we will be discussing different diseases and how they spread, and how to promote this public health measure as young interrogating minds.
