Course Description: The aim of the Live Sound Connections course is to give a deep-dive into the technical elements and connections required for sound for live performances. Different types of cables, microphones, sound desks, line arrays, desk settings, etc. will be mentioned. The course is based on a course with the same name at the University of Salford, a leading sound & acoustics university in Greater Manchester, UK.
